Through innovative bodywork sessions that emphasize cooperative goal-setting and achievement, I help my clients rediscover the joy of living in their own bodies!

The massage experiences I offer fall into two categories: treatment and relaxation. I incorporate my knowledge of myofascial release, neuromuscular facilitation, hydrotherapy, injury treatment, Swedish massage, Thai yoga massage, structural bodywork, and more into sessions as needed.

Treatment Massage

People come to me for treatment massage when they have pain or dysfunction in their bodies due to posture, work or sport-related needs, disease, or chronic or specific injuries.

My treatment style is highly communicative - I will ask you to actively participate in your own massage through observation, breath, and active movement, and give you ongoing self-care strategies so that you can continue your healing work in between sessions. This maximizes your benefit and allows our time together to have a measurable and lasting impact. You may choose to receive work that is uncomfortable or even painful in the short term in order to release restrictions in the body, aid it in its natural healing processes, and return it to optimal function.
 
 
Relaxation Massage

During relaxation and spa-style massages you will be enveloped in comfort. I will melt into the background as you let go of your stress. Rather than focusing on specific areas, the goal will be to integrate and release tension throughout the body using long, flowing strokes, hot packs/hot stones, and, if you choose, spa treatments such as body scrubs or wraps.
